Indian Institutes of Technology Joint Admission test for Masters, IIT JAM 2023 application process has commenced from today, September 7, 2022. Candidates who want to appear for the admission test can visit the official website– jam.iitg.ac.in and apply. IIT Guwahati will be organising the IIT JAM 2023.The last date to apply for IIT JAM 2023 is October 11, 2022.

Candidates applying for IIT JAM 2023 should be graduates of any recognized university. Those who are in the final year/ semester of their graduation can also apply and if they are selected, they have to present their passing certificate by September 1, 2023.

As per the IIT JAM 2023 schedule, IIT JAM 2023 exam will be held on February 12, 2023 and the results will be released om March 22, 2023. IIT JAM 2023 will be conducted in 7 subjects including Biotechnology (BT), Chemistry (CY), Economics (EN), Geology (GG), Mathematical Statistics (MS), Mathematics (MA), Physics (PH).

IIT JAM 2023 question paper will have three types of questions, Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ), Multiple Select Questions (MSQ), and Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions.

JAM 2023 Scores to be used for admissions to over 2300 seats by various CFTIs including NITs, IISc, DIAT, IIEST, IISER Pune, IISER Bhopal, IIPE, JNCASR, SLIET.

JAM 2023 scores will be used for admission to over 3000 seats in postgraduate programs at 21 IITs for the academic year 2023-24. JAM 2023 Scores will be used to admit the candidates without any additional interview or written test.

బయో టెక్నాలజీ, సైన్స్ విభాగాల్లో మాస్టర్స్‌ డిగ్రీ చేయాలనుకునే వారికోసం ఉద్దేశించిన ‘జాయింట్‌ అడ్మిషన్‌ టెస్ట్‌ ఫర్‌ మాస్టర్స్‌ (జామ్‌) 2023’ దరఖాస్తు ప్రక్రియ సెప్టెంబరు 7న ప్రారంభమైంది. సంబంధిత సబ్జెక్ట్‌లతో ఏదేని డిగ్రీ ఉత్తీర్ణులైన వారు దరఖాస్తు చేసుకోవడానికి అర్హులు. ఐఐటీ గువహటీ ఈ ఏడాది ‘జామ్’ పరీక్ష నిర్వహించనుంది.

దేశవ్యాప్తంగా ఉన్న ఐఐటీలు అందిస్తున్న వివిధ పీజీ ప్రోగ్రామ్‌లలో సుమారు 3000 సీట్లను జామ్‌ స్కోర్‌ ద్వారా భర్తీ చేస్తారు. వీటితోపాటు నిట్‌లు(NIT), ఐసర్లు(IISER), ఐఐఎస్సీ(IISC), ఐఐఈఎస్‌టీ(IIEST), డీఐఏటీ(DIAT), ఐఐపీఈ(IIPE), జేఎన్‌సీఏఎస్‌ఆర్‌ (JNCASR), ఎస్‌ఎల్‌ఐఈటీ (SLIET) సహా మొత్తం 30 సీఎఫ్‌టీఐ సంస్థల్లోని 2300కు పైగా సీట్ల భర్తీకి ఈ స్కోరునే ప్రామాణికంగా తీసుకుంటారు.

7) ఇంటిగ్రేటెడ్‌ పీహెచ్‌డీ ప్రోగ్రామ్

అర్హత: అభ్యర్థి జామ్‌లో ఎంచుకొన్న పేపర్‌/ పేపర్లను అనుసరించి సంబంధిత సబ్జెక్ట్‌లతో ఏదేని డిగ్రీ ఉత్తీర్ణులై ఉండాలి. ప్రస్తుతం చివరి సంవత్సరం పరీక్షలకు సన్నద్దమవుతున్నవారు కూడా దరఖాస్తు చేసుకోవచ్చు. వీరు 2023 సెప్టెంబరు 29 నాటికి డిగ్రీ సర్టిఫికెట్‌లు సమర్పించాల్సి ఉంటుంది. ప్రవేశ సమయంలో నిర్దేశిత ప్రమాణాల మేరకు ఫిజికల్‌ ఫిట్‌నెస్‌ తప్పనిసరిగా ఉండాలి.

ఎంపిక విధానం: రాతపరీక్ష ఆధారంగా.

పరీక్ష విధానం:
ఇది పూర్తిగా కంప్యూటర్‌ ఆధారిత పరీక్ష. ఆబ్జెక్టివ్‌ విధానంలో ప్రశ్నలు అడుగుతారు. పరీక్షలో మొత్తం 60 ప్రశ్నలకుగాను 100 మార్కులు కేటాయించారు. పేపర్లో మూడు సెక్షన్‌లు ఉంటాయి.

* మొదటి సెక్షన్‌లో 30 మల్టిపుల్‌ చాయిస్‌ ప్రశ్నలు ఇస్తారు. వీటిలో పది ప్రశ్నలకు ఒక్కోదానికి ఒక మార్కు మిగిలిన 20 ప్రశ్నలకు ఒక్కోదానికి రెండు మార్కులు నిర్దేశించారు.

* రెండో సెక్షన్‌లో 10 మల్టిపుల్‌ సెలెక్ట్‌ ప్రశ్నలు ఇస్తారు. ప్రతి ప్రశ్నకూ ఒకటి లేదా అంత కంటే ఎక్కువ సమాధానాలు ఉంటాయి. వాటన్నింటినీ గుర్తించాలి. ప్రశ్నకు రెండు మార్కులు ప్రత్యేకించారు.

* మూడో సెక్షన్‌లో 20 న్యూమరికల్‌ ఆన్సర్‌ టైప్‌ ప్రశ్నలు అడుగుతారు. వీటిలో పది ప్రశ్నలకు ఒక్కోదానికి ఒక మార్కు మిగిలిన పది ప్రశ్నలకు ఒక్కోదానికి రెండు మార్కులు ప్రత్యేకించారు. వీటికి ఆప్షన్స్‌ ఇవ్వరు. ఒక నెంబర్‌ను సమాధానంగా గుర్తించాల్సి ఉంటుంది.

* మొదటి సెక్షన్‌లో మాత్రమే నెగెటివ్‌ మార్కులు వర్తిస్తాయి. సమాధానాన్ని తప్పుగా గుర్తిస్తే కేటాయించిన మార్కుల్లో మూడోవంతు కోత విధిస్తారు. పరీక్ష సమయం మూడు గంటలు. ప్రశ్నపత్రం ఆంగ్ల మాధ్యమంలో ఉంటుంది.

జామ్‌ పేపర్లు: జామ్‌ పరీక్షను రెండు సెషన్లలో నిర్వహిస్తారు. ఉదయం సెషన్‌లో కెమిస్ట్రీ, జియాలజీ, మేథమెటిక్స్‌ పేపర్లు; మధ్యాహ్నం సెషన్‌లో బయోటెక్నాలజీ, ఎకనామిక్స్‌, మేథమెటికల్‌ స్టాటిస్టిక్స్‌, ఫిజిక్స్‌ పేపర్లు ఉంటాయి. అభ్యర్థులు గరిష్ఠంగా రెండు పేపర్లు రాయవచ్చు. రెండు పేపర్లు రాసేవారు ఉదయం సెషన్‌ నుంచి ఒక పేపర్‌, మధ్యాహ్నం సెషన్‌ నుంచి మరో పేపర్‌ ఉండేలా చూసుకోవాలి.
