JNV LATERAL ENTRY EXAM APLLY DATE EXTENDED FOR CLASS IX & XI:
The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has extended the online registration deadline for Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya lateral entry admissions to Classes 9 and 11 for the academic year 2024–25. As per the latest updates, the last date to submit the application forms is November 7. Earlier, the deadline for lateral entry admission was October 31. Students can apply for JNVST Class 9 and 11 lateral entry admission by visiting the official website at navodaya.gov.in.
Eligible candidates will be selected based on their performance in the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Lateral Entry Selection Test (LEST). According to the schedule, the Lateral Entry Selection Test for Classes 9 and 11 will be held on February 10, 2024.

దేశవ్యాప్తంగా 649 జవహర్‌ నవోదయ విద్యాలయ(జేఎన్‌వీ)లో తొమ్మిది, పదకొండో తరగతుల్లో ప్రవేశాలకు సంబంధించి ఆన్‌లైన్‌ దరఖాస్తు గడువును నవంబర్‌ 7 వరకు పొడిగించినట్లు నవోదయ విద్యాలయ సమితి ఓ ప్రకటనలో వెల్లడించింది. ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌లో 15, తెలంగాణలో 9 జేఎన్‌వీలు ఉన్నాయి. ప్రభుత్వ, ప్రభుత్వ గుర్తింపు పొందిన పాఠశాలల్లో చదువుతున్న విద్యార్థులు అర్హులు. గ్రామీణ ప్రాంతాల విద్యార్థులకు 75 శాతం సీట్లు కేటాయించారు. మిగిలిన 25శాతం సీట్లు పట్టణ ప్రాంత విద్యార్థులకు కేటాయించారు. ప్రవేశ పరీక్ష ద్వారా విద్యార్థులను ఎంపిక చేస్తారు. ప్రవేశ పరీక్ష ద్వారా ఎంపికైన విద్యార్థులకు ఉచిత విద్య అందిస్తారు. బాలబాలికలకు వేర్వేరు ఆవాస, వసతి సౌకర్యాలు కల్పించారు.
