Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University, Srikakulam invites applications from eligible candidates for admission to B.A. B.Ed & B.Sc. B.Ed. programme in regular mode for the academic year 2023-24
through NCET-2023 examination

ITEP PROGRAMME DETAILS:

ITEP ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

1) Must have studied in +2 with at least two subjects among Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics
for B.Sc B.Ed Programme; and History, Economics & Political Science for B.A.B.Ed
Programme and qualified +2 examinations with minimum 50% of marks (5% relaxation for SC/ST/PwD);

2) Qualified in NCET-2023 conducted by NTA.
3) Chosen Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University Srikakulam, Etcherla in the NCET application form.

Note: Mere appearing in the National Common Entrance Test-2023 will not ensure admission
to the 4-Year Integrated B.Sc. B.Ed. programme under ITEP.

ITEP APPLICATION PROCESSING FEE:

Candidate should pay a non-refundable Application processing fee (to be paid online):

General/OBC/EWS candidates. Rs.1,000/-
SC/ST/PwD candidates Rs. 500/-

ITEP RULES OF RESERVATION:

The rules of reservation for admission into ITEP Programme will be followed as prescribed
by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. Admission into B.Sc. B.Ed. & B.A. B.Ed Programme of
study shall be made on the basis of NCET-2023 and eligibility criteria subject to the rule of
reservation as detailed below

ITEP LOCAL CANDIDATES:

In every course of study and category (explained in the following section) 85% of the available seats
are reserved in favour of the Local Candidates from the districts of Srikakulam, Vizianagaram,
Visakhapatnam, East Godavari, West Godavari belonging to Andhra University area.

ITEP ADMISSION PROCEDURE:

i. The candidates will be required to download the Admission Application Form from the
University Website and submit the dully filled-in application (hard copy) along with the
following copies of certificates directly to Dr.B.R.Ambedkar University Srikakulam
Etcherla-532410. Srikakulam District Andhra Pradesh by registered post / speed post /
person on or before 13.11.2023. Any post delay will not be responsible of the University.

ITEP List of Copies of Certificates to be enclosed:

a) A certificate obtained after successful completion of Grade 12 (or equivalent stage of education
such as pre-University, Intermediate etc.,) with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate or an
equivalent grade from a recognized Board/University.
b) Test Score Card relating to the National Common Entrance Test (NCET-2023) conducted by
NTA.
c) Admit Card relating to the National Common Entrance Test (NCET-2023) conducted by NTA
d) SSC / Grade 10 Certificate for verification of Date of Birth
e) Community certificate issued by the competent authority in respect of candidates belonging to
ST/SC/BC/EWS Categories, if applicable
f) Valid latest Income certificate issued by M.R.O. / Tahsildar if fee concession is claimed (the
validity of income certificate is four years from the date of issue) or White Ration Card
(G.O.M.S.No.186, Dt.26-05-2015).
g) Transfer Certificate
h) Study Certificates for the last seven years or Residence Certificate for preceding seven years of
the qualifying examination to claim the reservation under local category.
i) Candidates opting for admission under NCC/Sports/CAP/PH/NSS quota shall produce relevant
original certificate in addition to the above
ii. Based on the number of available seats (category-wise) and eligible candidates, the
applications will be scrutinized by the Admission Committee in order of merit of the score obtained
in the National Common Entrance Test (NCET)-2023.
iii. In case, there is a tie of the score obtained in NCET-2023, the candidate older in age will be
placed above the candidate who is younger in age. If the tie breaking criterion fails to break the tie,
then, higher marks in domain specific subject of NCET-2023 will be taken for consideration.
iv. Based on the NCET-2023 score, a merit list of the candidates will be displayed on the
Institute Website.
v. Phase-I: The list of provisionally selected candidates as per the category-wise seats will be
displayed on the University website i.e. www.brau.edu.in as per the schedule.
vi. The provisionally selected candidates during Phase-I will be required to deposit their Tution
Fee online as per the given schedule for confirming their admission.
vii. Non-payment of the Tution Fee will be deemed as automatic withdrawal of the allotted seat.
No further chance will be given in any case.
viii. Phase-II: The vacant seats will be displayed on the University website i.e. www.brau.edu.in.
ix. Against the vacant seats, the list of the provisionally selected candidates will be displayed.
x. The provisionally selected candidates during Phase-II will be required to deposit their
University Fee online as per the given schedule for confirming their admission.
xi. Tution Fee once deposited shall not be refunded in any case.
xii. Limited Hostel facility is available for the students.
xiii. All the admissions are purely provisional and the University reserves the right to cancel the
admission at any stage

ITEP GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

i. If at any stage, it is noticed that the candidate has submitted false information/false document,
his/her admission will be cancelled and no refund of fee whatsoever will be made.
ii. Any disputes pertaining to the admissions under this Advertisement shall fall within the
jurisdiction of Srikakulam only.
iii. All admissions will be provisional till these are confirmed subject to medical fitness, payment
of all the fees, fulfilment of eligibility conditions, and verifications of certificates by the University
