TS Ed.CET Counselling: The qualified candidates of TS Ed.CET-2023 Examination are informed to attend web-based counselling for admission into two years B.Ed. course for the academic years 2023-2024, as per G.O.Ms No.24, dated: 24/08/2017 and its amendments G.O. Ms. No. 14 dt 12-04-2021, G.O. Ms. No.16 dt 11-06-2021 and G.O. Ms. No. 33 dt 30-09-2022, asper the schedule given.
Candidates are informed that they should satisfy the admission rules prescribed in the related G.O.Ms. No.24, dated: 24/08/2017 and its amendments G.O. Ms. No. 14 dt 12-04-2021 and G.O. Ms. No. 16 dt 11-06-2021 and should be prepared to pay the tuition fee as applicable.
This notification itself is a call for web counselling. No separate call letters are sent to the individual candidates.
Mere attending of the web counselling does not guarantee a seat.
All candidates are informed to register online at http://edcetadm.tsche.ac.in from 20th September 2023 to 30th September 2023 and furnish all information in the application form. All the entries should be correct, and the candidate is responsible for any incorrect entry. All the candidates have to pay non-refundable Processing Fee Rs. 800.00 (Rupees: Eight Hundred only) and Rs. 500.00 (Rupees: Five Hundred only) in case of (SC/ST Candidates) towards Registration cum Verification process which has to be paid through online payment (Credit Cards/Debit Cards/Internet Banking) in Favour of ‘Secretary, TSCHE.’
Tuition fee particulars and seats available under Convener Quota College wise will be notified on the websites: https://edcet.tsche.ac.in or http://edcetadm.tsche.ac.in/ well before the commencement of counselling (option entry). Tuition Fee and Special Fee as fixed by the Government shall be paid per annum.
The fee reimbursement for eligible candidates is subject to the guidelines issued by the Government from time to time.

TS Ed.CET COUNSELLING-2023 Eligibility:

- The candidate should be of Indian Nationality.
- The candidate should belong to the State of Telangana / Andhra Pradesh.
- The candidate should satisfy the local/non-local status requirements as laid down in the regulations of admission. (Ref. G.O.Ms. No.24, dated: 24/08/2017 and its amendments G.O. Ms. No. 14 dt 12-04-2021, G.O. Ms. No. 16 dt 11-06-2021 and G.O. Ms. No. 33 dt 30-09-2022)
- Candidates should have secured 50% marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree i.e., B.A./ B.Sc. / B.Com. / B.Sc. (Home Science) / BCA / BBM and or in the Master’s Degree or any other qualification equivalent thereto.
- Bachelors in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 50% aggregate marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto.
- However, the candidates belonging to reserved categories viz., SC/ST/BC and other reserved categories should have secured 40% marks in the qualifying examination.
- Eligibility to different methodologies is followed as per GO Ms No14, dated: 12.04.2021 and its amendments G.O. Ms. No. 16 dt 11-06-2021.

The candidates claiming special category are required to book the slot for certificate verification to avoid gathering of many candidates at the same time. TS Ed.CET Counselling Certificates to be uploaded at the time of Registration and filling application form:

- Original Degree / Provisional Certificate (PC) & Consolidate Memorandum Marks (CMM) qualifying examination.
- Intermediate/Diploma / 10+2 Certificate or its equivalent
- SSC pass certificate or its Equivalent for proof of Date of Birth.
- Bonafide (Study) certificates from Class IX to Graduation.
- Residence certificate for preceding 7 years of the qualifying examination i.e. Graduation in respect of candidates who have private study without any institutionalized education (Distance / Open education mode).
- Residence certificate of either of parents in Telangana for 10 years in case of non-local candidates excluding the period of employment outside the state. This certificate should be obtained from the Tahsildar.
- Residence certificate from M. R. O either of parents in Telangana for 10 years in case of non-local candidates.
- In respect of Non-Local candidates in order to consider them for allotment under unreserved seats the following certificates needs to be submitted.
- Residence Certificate: Candidates who has resided in the State for a total period of 10 years excluding periods of study outside the State; or either of whose parents have resided in the State for a total period of 10 years excluding periods of employment outside the State.(OR)
- Employer Certificate: Candidates who are children of parents who are in the employment of this State or Central Government, Public Sector Corporations, Local bodies, Universities and other similar Quasi Public Institutions within the State at the time of applying for TS Ed.CET- 2023) examination
- Latest Integrated community certificate issued by the competent authority in case of Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) Reservation (applicable only to OC candidates): *As per the Guidelines issued in G.O.Ms.No.244, General Administration (SER.D) Department, Government of Telangana, dated. 24.08.2021, the 10% Reservation to the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) in respect of Admissions into Educational Institutions shall be implemented. Candidates should produce EWS Certificate issued by MRO/ Tahsildar valid for the year 2023-24.
- Transfer Certificate (TC)
- The Muslim and Christian Minority Candidates should upload the “TC” of the SSC containing Minority status (or) in the absence of TC, a Certificate issued by the Head of the Institution in which the student studied/appeared for SSC or its equivalent examination.
- Special category certificates NCC / CAP / PH / SPORTS
- Latest Parental Income Certificate issued by M.R.O., Telangana Govt. after 01.01.2023.

SPECIAL CATEGORY: Certificates to be produced by PH / CAP / NCC / Sports (SG) for TS Ed.CET COUNSELLING-2023:
All original certificates to be scanned and uploaded.
Certificates to be produced by PH / CAP / NCC / Sports (SG) categories: The following original certificates whichever is applicable are to be scanned and uploaded.
- PH-Certificate issued by District Medical Board. Candidates with 40% and above disability are only eligible.
- CAP (Children of Armed Forces Personnel): Candidates whose parents are domiciled in the State of Telangana based on the permanent address/home town declared by them while joining the service and as recorded in their Service Register are alone eligible to be considered under “CAP” Category.

Children of Armed Forces (CAP) 2% (two percent) for the children of armed persons i.e., Ex-Servicemen, Defence Personnel including the Children of Border Security Force and Central Reserve Police Force who are Domiciled in Telangana State based on the Permanent address/ Home town declared by them while joining the service and as recorded in their Service Register.
- The Ex-Servicemen have to produce the Children of Armed Forces Personnel (CAP) certificate issued by respective Regional Sainik Welfare Officer as per Appendix-“A” Attached with supporting documents to establish the Permanent address/ Home town declared by Ex-Servicemen while joining the service and as recorded in their Service Register in accordance with GO, such as Certificate from Records Office, Education Certificates of Ex-Servicemen, etc.
- Serving Defense Personnel including CRPF and BSF Personnel should submit a Children of Armed Forces Personnel (CAP) certificate issued by unit Commanding officer (not less than the rank of a Colonel/ equivalent in Navy and Air Force Commandant in CRPF/BSF) as per Appendix- “B” Attached along with original and attested copy of Service Register where the Permanent address/ Home town declared by them while joining the service is mentioned along with the education certificates of the Serving Defence personnel.
- The retired CRPF and BSF Personnel have to produce the Children of Armed Forces Personnel (CAP) certificate issued by their respective competent authority as per Appendix-A along with supporting documents to establish the Permanent address/ Home town declared by them while joining the service and as recorded in their Service Register in accordance with GO, such as Certificate from Records Office, Education Certificates of CRPF/BSF personnel, etc.

- NCC – Certificates issued by competent authorities.
- Sports (SG) – Sports Achievements / Testimonials along with the Form- I, II, III & IV (formats provided in the website) duly certified / attested by the Concerned State Sports Associations recognized by the SATS which are categorized according to level of the Championships as laid down in G.O. Ms. No. 02, Youth Advancement, Tourism & Culture (Sports) Department, dated: 22-09-2020, which are essential during Scrutiny.
Note: The candidate seeking admission under special categories (NCC / CAP / PH / Sports) have to appear in person (physically present) for verification before the relevant competent authority and are required to bring the following certificates for the support of verification along with relevant special category original certificate.

TS Ed.CET Certificate verification and counselling:

- The preliminary certificate verification will be done based on scanned copies of original documents uploaded and as per norms.
- In case of any doubt, enquiry will be done over phone to establish the veracity and correctness of documents.
- Procedure for exercising options will be made available on the website i.e. http://edcetadm.tsche.ac.in well before the commencement of the option entry.
- List of Provisionally selected candidates will be prepared College wise and will be placed in the website i.e. http://edcetadm.tsche.ac.in and SMS will be sent to the valid mobile number furnished in the application.
- Tuition fee has to be paid by challan at the any Union bank.
- Final allotment of seat for admission is subject to satisfactory verification of all original certificates at reported college and producing fee payment challan.
- Candidates have to report to the concerned college and produce all original certificates within the stipulated time.
- Allotment order and joining report will be issued at the allotted college, which has to be submitted at the college along with the original T.C.
- Candidates have to submit two sets of attested copies of all certificates at the respective colleges, one set is meant for submission to the office of the Convener.
- If the candidate cancels his/her admission, tuition fee will be forfeited as mentioned below:
- After first phase, full tuition fee will be refunded.
- 50% of the amount after final phase and before cut-off date notified for cancellation in allotment order and 100% thereafter.
Rules of Reservation for admission.
Admissions will be made as per rules of reservations in vogue at the time of Counselling.

The candidate shall satisfy Local / Non local status as per GO.No.646 Edn. (W1) department dated 10-07-1979 and Presidential order. The Non local candidates are eligible for 15% unreserved seats only. The local candidates are also eligible for 15% unreserved seats along with 85% seats reserved for local area.
- In the affiliated Colleges of Telangana State, admission to 85% of the convener quota of seats shall be reserved for the local candidates of Telangana State and the remaining 15% shall be Un-reserved seats.
- Cent-percent (100%) of seats in University College and 75% of the sanctioned intake of seats in unaided (affiliated), non-minority and minority professional institutions will be filled by the Convener TS Ed.CET-2023 Admissions.
