తాత్పర్యము:సత్యమాడేవాడు రాజైనా సరే అతని సంపద నశించును. చిల్లి కుండలో ఏవిధంగానైతే నీరు ఉండదో, అదే విధంగా అబద్దాలాడే వాడు ఎంతటివాడైనా లక్ష్మి అతని చెంట ఉండాలనుకోదు. కాబట్టి అసత్యాలని వదిలివేసి ఎల్ల వేళలా నిజం పలకాలి.
