AP PGCET-2023 WEB COUNSELING DETAILED NOTIFICATION

Certificate verification and exercising of options for WEB based counseling

The qualified and eligible candidates of APPGCET-2023 are informed to register and participate in the APPGCET-2023 web counseling for Admission into first year of various P.G. Courses (M.A., M.Com., M.Sc., MCJ, M.J.M.C., M.Lib.I.Sc., M.Ed., M.P.Ed., M.Sc.Tech. etc.) begin offered by constituent and affiliated colleges of various universities in the state of Andhra Pradesh for the Academic Year 2023-24. Candidates can participate in the counseling using the weblink: https://cets.apsche.ap.gov.in. Details and procedures to participate in web based counseling are available under the APPGCET-2023 tab in the above website.

Candidates are informed that they should satisfy the admission rules prescribed in the related G.O. besides satisfying the eligibility criteria of the respective Universities and should be prepared to pay the tuition fee as applicable

This notification itself is a call for counseling. No separate call letters will be sent to the individual candidates.

Mere attending Web counseling does not guarantee a seat.

No TA & DA will be given to candidates attending to physical certificate verification applicable to special category candidates

AP PGCET-2023 WEB COUNSELING Payment of Registration/Processing Fee:

All the APPGCET-2023 rank holders have to pay a processing fee of Rs.700/- (for OC/BC) and Rs.500/- (for SC/ST/PH) to participate in the counseling. The payment will be done through online mode only using the credit card/debit card/net banking/other payment modes supported by the payment gateway through the “Pay Processing Fee link” of APPGCET-2023 under the Admissions-2023 tab in the website: https://cets.apsche.ap.gov.in.

All the rank holders of all the subjects are permitted to pay the processing fee from 12/09/2023 onwards.

The candidates have to enter the APPGCET – 2023 Hall Ticket number and Date of Birth to initiate payment of processing fee. After entering the HT number and DOB, click on the submit button. Then the candidates will be directed to the payment gateway, where candidates can pay fee using the supported payment modes of payment gateway i.e. credit card/debit card/internet banking/others.

Select any one of the supported modes of payment i.e., credit card/ debit card/net banking/others and enter the credentials to make payment.

Once the payment is successful, click on print button and take a printout of the payment receipt.

Schedule and Uploading of Certificates:

Once the processing fee payment is completed, all the registered candidates have to upload their certificates strictly following the instructions given in the uploading web page of APPGCET-2023 tab under Admissions-2023 of https://cets.apsche.ap.gov.in. Candidates have to upload all the relevant certificates required as per the online application. Detailed schedule for APPGCET-2023 admissions is given below.

Online certificate verification:

Verification of Certificates of all candidates except candidates of Special category will be done online only. Candidates are directed to verify their phone messages and email frequently during the certificate verification period as they get updated information related to certificate verification.

Physical Verification of Certificates (only for Special Category Candidates)

Verification of certificates for all the special category candidates i.e. candidates having Divyangjan Certificate (PH-O, PH-V, PH-H), NCC Certificates, Sports Medals/participation certificates, Children of Armed Personal certificate, will be done physically at HLC, Andhra Loyola College, Sentini Hospital Road, Veterinary Colony, Vijayawada-520008. However, all the special category candidates have to upload their certificates online in the web portal: https://cets.apsche.ap.gov.in after the processing fee payment and have to physically visit above helpline centre with all the original certificates, on the scheduled date(s) for verification of their special category certificates by the concerned authorities to fix the priorities of the certificates. Special category candidates are instructed to visit the website for rules of admission under PH/NCC/SPORTS/CAP Authority and for priorities. Candidates claiming Special reservation categories PH/NCC/ SPORTS/CAP are informed that the decision of SAAP /NCC /PH /CAP Verification authority is final with regard to priorities and genuineness of the certificates produced. Upon allotment, the certificate produced by the candidate is found false/ fake the provisional allotment stands cancelled and the candidate is liable for criminal prosecution. Schedule to attend the special category candidates’ certificate verification is as follows.

Note: Candidates are advised to prepare for stay one more day i.e. next day of the scheduled date if there is any delay in counseling due to technical problems.

Certificates required for online submission

All the candidates are directed to keep the scan copies of the following certificates ready to upload same for online verification of the certificates for APPGCET-2023 admissions.

• APPGCET-2023 HallTicket
• APPGCET-2023 RankCard
• Transfer Certificate(T.C)
• Consolidated Marks Memo
• Degree Provisional Certificate
• Intermediate Marks Memo/Diploma Marks Memo
• S.S.C or its equivalent Certificate
• Study Certificates from Class IX to Degree
• Residence Certificate (incase where candidate has no institutionalized education) in respect of private candidates of APState.
• Residence certificate of either of the parent in AP for 10 years excluding the period of employment outside Andhra Pradesh from the competent authority in respect of Non-Local Candidates.
• Latest valid Income Certificate or Ration Card issued by the competent authority containing the name of the candidate.
• Caste Certificate issued by competent authority in respect of SC/ST/BC
• Latest Economically Weaker Section (EWS) certificate from competent authority containing the name of the candidate. (if applicable).
• Local status certificate if applicable i.e., a candidate who migrates to any part of the state of Andhra Pradesh from the state of Telangana within a period of Seven years from the 2nd day of June, 2015 shall be regarded as the local candidate in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

Certificates to be produced Special Category Candidates (PH/NCC/CAP/Sports)

• PH – Original Certificate issued by the District Medical Board. Candidates with 40% and above disability are only eligible.
• CAP – Original Certificate issued by Zilla Sainik Welfare Officer (In case of Ex-
• Servicemen) Identity card and Service Discharge book for verification. Candidates whose parents are domicile of Andhra Pradesh are only eligible to be considered under “CAP” Category.
• NCC & Sports – Original Certificates issued by competent authorities.

Note:

All APPGCET-2023 qualified Candidates can exercise their options from their Residence or any Internet cafe, after completing the Certificates Verification as per the schedule. The detailed Procedure of Exercising Options will be available on the Website: https://cets.apsche.ap.gov.in under Admissions-2023 during the scheduled period.

The Government (G.O.Ms.No.77 of Social Welfare (EDN) Department dated 25-12- 2020)

ordered that incase of Post-Graduation courses, the (i) “Jagananna Vidya Deevena(RTF)” and

(ii) “Jagananna Vasathi Deevena(MTF)” schemes shall be applicable only to the students admitted under Convener quota in the Post Graduate programs/Courses offered by the State funded Universities and Government Degree/PG Colleges in the State of Andhra Pradesh from 2020-21.The above are not applicable to the students admitted under convener quota, in case of Post Graduate programs/courses either regular or self-finance mode, in the Private Aided and Private Unaided Degree/PG Colleges from the academic year 2020-21.

Original Certificates need not be deposited in the college at the time of admission.
