The attention of all Regional Joint Directors of School Education and District Educational Officers in the State is invited to the reference cited and informed that, the BEE, Ministry of Power (MOP), Govt. of India conducting National Energy Conservation Week from 14th December to 20th December, every year. Accordingly, the APSECM is planning to organize Short Video Competition in each and every school on the various topics related to awareness on Energy Efficiency and Energy Conservation for 8th, 9th and 10th class students.

In view of the above, all District Educational Officers in the state are requested to issue following instructions to the field level functionaries and the guidelines communicated by APSEMC are below:

a. Conducting of the Short Video Competitions in all districts on awareness Energy Efficiency and Energy Conservation for 8th, 9th and 10th standard students.

b. The Short Video length shall be less than 2 Minutes with content on the Importance of Energy Efficiency and Energy Conservation. The selected videos shall be posted in APSECM Website and Social Media platforms also.

c. The DEOS shall send the videos in their respective district to APSECM Mail Id: ceo.secm@gmail.com on or before 05:00 pm of 5th December-2022 to select the state level winners.

d. Further, 1st, 2nd & 3rd prizes winners and 10 no’s consolation award winners at State Level will be selected and awarded with cash prize and meritorious certificate from APSECM during one of the Day in the National Energy Conservation Week 2022.

 1st, 2nd & 3rd prizes winners will be awarded with Rs.20,000, Rs.10000, Rs.5000/- respectively and consolation award winners will be awarded with cash prize of Rs.2000/- each.
