The attention of District Educational Officers Prakasam, Nellore, Chittoor, Kurnool, Anantapur and Kadapa is invited to the subject read above, wherein it has came to the notice of the undersigned that, certain MLC’s, Teacher Union Leaders and Teachers were undertaking political campaigning related to the Graduate/Teacher MLC elections in East Rayalaseema and West Rayalaseema regions i.e., Prakasam, Nellore, Chittoor, Kurnool, Anantapur and Kadapa in the schools during the instructional hours causing disturbance to the education of children.
The District Educational Officers Prakasam, Nellore, Chittoor, Kurnool, Anantapur and Kadapa are hereby instructed to inform the teacher Union Leaders and Teachers working under their respective jurisdiction that such activities are not permissible and are punishable as per APCS (CCA) Rules, 1994. Hence not to conduct any campaigns during the instructional hours affecting the functioning of schools and the education of children.
The above instructions should be followed scrupulously without any deviation and disciplinary action shall be inititated in case of any deviation of the instructions.
