All the Additional Project Coordinators of Samagra Shiksha in the State
are informed that Jagananna Vidya Kanuka is the flagship programme of the
Government of Andhra Pradesh and the School Education Department. The
main objective of the scheme is to reduce dropout rate in the Government
management schools and to improve the learning outcome among the
students.
It is further informed that Government is spending a huge budget on this
prestigious programme and giving utmost priority to the quality of the
components supplying in JVK.
It is observed that several adverse news is published in the news papers
on the quality of bags.
The Additional Project Coordinators of Samagra Shiksha in the State are
one again informed that instructions were already issued by this office in the
ref 1 & 2 cited to the supplier of bags to replace the under quality bags which
were tested negative and not complied with specifications, with new bags
manufactured strictly in accordance with specifications approved as per tender
conditions.
Therefore Additional Project Coordinators of Samagra Shiksha in the
State are once again requested to ensure whether the bags which were
supplied previously to the students are replaced with new bags or not and also
requested to furnish the details of the poor quality bags identified, returned
and replaced and details of damaged bags if any in the district to this office by
17.09.2022 for taking further course of action in the matter.
