The Government of Andhra Pradesh has accorded permission to the
Director, Mid Day Meals & SS for procurement and supply of Eggs to all schools under Jagananna Gorumudda and to Anaganwadi Centers under YSR Sampoorna Poshana Schemes. Accordingly, Egg tenders were floated through e-Procurement portal for procurement and supply of Eggs. After
completion of the tender process, work orders issued to L1 bidders and Agreements were also done with the new suppliers of Eggs to all Schools under Jagananna Gorumudda Scheme for a period of one year.
Hence, as such agreement was already entered with new Egg suppliers and the supply of Eggs to Schools already started through new
suppliers, the request of the NGOs cannot be considered at this juncture.
