ENGAGING POST GRADUATE TEACHER/ TRAINED GRADUATE TEACHER’s ON CONTRACTUAL BASIS IN A.P. MODEL SCHOOLS IN 18 DISTRICTS

Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for engaging 211 Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs) and 71 Trained Graduate Teachers (TGTs) in A.P Model Schools spread over in 18 Districts on contract basis in terms of G.O.Ms.No.94, GAD, Dated:28-03-2003.

  1. The applicants have to apply online through website http://cse.ap.gov.in, after being satisfied that they are eligible for the post as per advertisement. Application through any other mode will not be accepted. Schedule of ONLINE registration is as follows:

  3. The applicant shall compulsorily upload his/her own scanned latest passport size color photo (only in jpg.Format) and signature. The uploaded photograph, specimen signature must be clearly identifiable/visible, otherwise the application of the candidate is liable to be rejected and no representation in this regard from the candidate will be entertained.

  4. RULE OF RESERVATION: The Rule of Reservations laid down under Rule 22 of A.P State and Subordinate Service Rules, 1996 shall be followed.

  5. ELIGIBILITY:

    1. AGE: The maximum age limit is 44 and should not be less than 18 years as on the date of Issuance of notification. However, in case of SC/ST/BC/EWS candidates the maximum age limit shall be 49 years and in respect of Physically Challenged candidates the maximum age limit shall be 54 years.

      Upper age limit for Ex-service Men: A person, who worked in the Armed Forces of the Indian Union, shall be allowed to deduct the length of the service rendered by him in the Armed Forces and also three years from his age for the purpose of the maximum age limit will be taken into consideration.

    2. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

      1. Post Graduate Teachers:

        Academic Qualifications: Must possess two –year integrated Post Graduate Course from the Regional Institute of Education of NCERT or Master’s Degree from UGC recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the subjects as specified as under:

        • PGT(English)- M.A., in English

        • PGT(Civics)-M.A., in Political Science/ Public Administration / Politics.

        • PGT(Commerce)- M.Com., in Commerce with Accountancy/Cost Accounting/ Financial Accountancy as a main subject/Master of

          Financial Analysis provided having B.Com in Graduation level.

          Note:Holders of M.Com in Applied/Business Economics are not eligible for the post of PGT-Commerce.

          • PGT(Economics)- M.A., in Economics/Applied Economics/Business Economics/ Rural Development/ Mathematical Economics/ Econometrics.

          • PGT(Maths)-M.A.,/ M.Sc., in Mathematics/ Applied Mathematics/ Statistics/ Applied Statistics/ M.Sc., with Pure Mathematics/

            M.Sc.Maths & Computer Science/ A.O. Maths

            And

            Should have studied the subject mathematics at their graduation level.

          • PGT(Physics) – M.Sc., in Physics/Electronics/ Applied Physics/ Nuclear Physics/ M.Sc (Tech) Engineering Physics with any specialization /M.Sc., (Tech) Instrumentation/Space Physics/M.Sc. Technical Engineering Physics/

            And

            Should have studied the subject Mathematics at their Graduation level.

          • PGT (Chemistry) – M.Sc., Chemistry with specialization in inorganic/orgranic/Physical Chemistry/ Medicinal Chemistry/ Industrial Chemistry and Analytical Chemistry/ Fertilizers and Agro Chemicals/Phyto

            Chemistry & Forest Products/ Chemistry of Foods and Drugs/ Synthetic Chemistry/ Applied Chemistry/ M.Sc., Chemistry (Associateship Exam in Chemistry) M.Sc.,Chemistry with specialization in Petro chemicals/Natural Products/Polymer Chemistry/ Drugs and Pharmaceuticals/ Forest Products Chemistry.

      • TGT(Telugu): A Bachelor’s Degree with Telugu as the main subject (or) one of the three equal optional subjects/Bachelor’s Degree in Oriental Language in Telugu (B.O.L) or its equivalent/ a post

        Graduate Degree in Telugu.

      • TGT (Hindi): A Bachelor’s degree with Hindi as one of the full elective

      History / Economics / Geography / Political Science / Public Administration / Sociology / Commerce / Politics / Social Anthropology / Ancient Indian History Culture & Archaeology / Anthropology/ Social Work/ Philosophy/ Psychology.

      OR

      B.Com. with any four of the following subjects:

      Economics or Business Economics / Business Organization and Management / Statistics or Business Statistics or Quantitative Techniques/ Financial Services or Banking and Insurance / Accountancy or Financial Accounting/ Fundamentals of information Technology. /Computers

      And

      B.Ed. Degree with Social Studies / Social Sciences / Geography / History / Politics / Political Science/ Economics as a methodology subject.

  6. METHOD OF SELECTION:

    Selection will be done through the Selection Committee Headed by the Joint Collector of concerned Zone with the following personnel:

    The above Selection Committee has to verify all the Original Documents/ Certificates produced by the Candidates during the selection and to test the communication skills of the selected candidates by way of Demo without any bias.

  7. For overall Monitoring of above process (entire process) observers are to be appointed on behalf of the Commissioner of School Education not below the rank of Joint Director in School Education Department in each Zone.

  8. REMUNERATION TO BE PAID :- The Minimum of Time Scale of Pay fixed by Government from time to time shall be paid, without paying any allowances.

  9. PREPARATION OF MERIT LIST: Candidates shall be selected on the basis of percentage of marks obtained and merit cum roaster:

    3. For the purpose of deciding ranks to the candidates with equal marks, the following procedure shall be followed in that order:

      1. Date of Birth: The elder candidate will be given higher rank over a younger candidate;

      2. If the Date of Birth is also same, but the candidates belong to different genders, a female candidate will be given a higher rank over a male candidate;

      3. If two or more candidates have same date of birth, and no female candidate is one of them, or more than one female candidate are available, then candidates belonging to the following communities (in that order) shall be given a higher rank:

        1. ST

        2. SC

        3. BC A

        4. BC B

        5. BC C

        6. BC D

        7. BC E

        8. EWS

  10. PREPARATION OF SELECTION LISTS:

    • Based on the marks obtained at Sl.No 1, 2 &3 under tables (A) & (B) of 8, the Seniority list will be prepared and the same will be displayed in the Official Web Site.

    • After display of Merit list, if received any Grievances will be rectified /sorted out, by the concerned RJDSE with co-ordination of

      the IT Section, O/o CSE, A.P, Amaravati.

    • Certificates verification of the selected candidates by the Selection Committee.

    • After having verification of certificates, demo/interview will be

      conducted for eligible candidates @1:2 for testing “Communication

      skills”.

    • Display of Final merit list in the website.

    Note:

    1. The rule of reservation to local candidates is applicable and the provisions of Andhra Pradesh Public employment (OLC & RDR) Order (Presidential Order) 1975 and amendments there to shall be followed strictly.

    2. The rule of special representation in the matter of appointment of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Backward Classes, Economically Weaker Section, Physically Challenged and Ex-service Men, women is applicable as per Rule

      22 of the Andhra Pradesh State and Subordinate Service Rules 1996 as amended from time to time.

    3. The rules issued from time to time by the Department of Disabled Welfare shall be followed in respect of special representation for differently abled (physically challenged) persons. As per the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 (RPWD Act)

  11. ENGAGING THE CANDIDATES AFTER SELECTION:

  1. The Selection Committee shall verify all original documents of the candidates selected from the selection list in support of fulfillment of eligibility conditions laid down in the Notification as well as other documents normally required if any.

  2. After verification, the Selection Committee shall issue placement for engaging of selected candidates from Zonal list approved by the Selection Committee of the Zone concerned by way of counselling.

  3. The selection list approved by the Selection Committee is to be communicated to the Principals concerned with a direction to obtain contract agreement invariably from all the selected candidates.

  4. The selected candidates shall enter into an agreement with the Principals concerned.

  5. The contract agreement executed by the selected candidates is limited end of academic year from the date of issue of contract agreement or until the termination of the contract agreement, whichever is earlier.

  6. If any false/fake information submitted by the candidates through online will be rejected without assigning any reasons thereof.

  7. If any fake certificates submitted by the candidates concerned at the time of verification, it will be viewed seriously besides initiate stringent criminal cases against such defaulters.

  8. Candidates who submit false/fake information in online application form shall be liable for criminal prosecution besides rejection of the application or cancellation of selection, as the case may be.

  9. The candidates applying must be fully qualified for the post applied for and in possession of all Certificates as on the last date prescribed in the notification for submission of applications.

    NOTE:

    1. The entire Notification may be cancelled at any time as and when desired by the authorities concerned without assigning any reason thereof.

    2. As and when all the regular vacancies filled in up by the eligible candidates through DSC recruitment, then, the services for engagement of Contract will automatically be ceased.
