published by the NCERT, Govt. of India.
The attention of all the Deputy Educational Officers, Mandal Educational
Officers and Head Masters of all Aided and Govt. primary/High Schools is invited to
the subject cited above wherein the performance of children in the schools has been
very alarming and the Right to Education to the children is at its stake. There have
been several complaints from the parent’s corner stating that the phenomena of the
performance of the children are caused mainly by the Teachers attendance in the
school. Further it is stated that there are two types of absenteeism i.e. in terms of
physical presence and mental presence in the school.
So in this context, the undersigned has understood that the Teacher’s
absenteeism can be handled by taking certain corrections administrative measures
and implementing in letter and spirit. So all those Teachers and Head Masters who
have been on leave for more than a week except on the grounds mentioned in the
subject part. The Concerned Dy.E.Os, M.E.Os, H.Ms shall inform such Teachers who
have been on leave and make them join the school for the welfare of the student.
