CIP :Central Institute of Psychiatry JOBS RE

Online applications are invited from eligible candidates for the following posts at Central Institute of Psychiatry (CIP), Ranchi.

The selection will be based on the stages as follows:

1. Physical & Skill Test: Physical & Skill test is only a qualifying test and will be conducted only for the post of Ward Attendant which comprises trade specific practical test to assess the skills of the appearing

   candidates. Physical & Skill Test will at Ranchi, Tharkhand — 834 006.

   PwD candidates will be exempted from the physical test.

2. List of candidates qualifying in the Physical & Skill test to be called for Computer Based Test (CBT) will be displayed on the CIP website: www.cipranchi.nic.in within 72 hours of completion of the last shift of the test. The candidates not qualifying or not appearing in the skill test will not be called for CBT.

3. Computer Based Test: The written examination for all posts will be Computer Based Test (CBT) consists of 50 multiple choice questions to be completed in one hour. The CBT will be conducted at the centres chosen by the candidate at the time of filling online application.

4. Merit list:The institute will release Merit list of eligible candidates based on the performance in CBT on the CIP website: www.cipranchi.nic.in within 72 hours from the completion of last shift of Computer Based CBT.

5. The candidates who do not fulfill the criteria mentioned above need not apply. Number of seats may vary without assigning any reason.

Candidates who are seeking reservation benefit in the OBC category should submit a valid certificate as per DOPT O.M. No. 360331112013-Estt.(Res.), dated 13.9.2017.

Candidates who are seeking reservation benefit in the EWS category should submit a valid Income & Assets certificate to be produced by Economically Weaker Sections as per DOPT OM No. 360391112019-Estt (Res) dated 31.01.2019.

True Scanned copies of all certificates, mark sheets, EWS certificate, testimonials and Caste/Disability Certificate (wherever applicable) should be uploaded along with the application. Further, candidates who are selected through the Physical Test, Skill Test & CBT and are called for counseling & verification will be required

to bring all certificates and testimonials in on the day of counseling for verification of the certificates.

Online form will be available on our website (www.cipranch.nic.in) from 01.09.2022.

The application form is to bo submitted electronically ONLY by Internet on CIP website: www.cipranchi.nic.in on or before 30.09.2022. Hard copy of the application form  will not be entertained. Payment has to bo made through online transfer.

Examination Fee

a. For General and EWS candidates Rs.1000/- ” (Rupees One thousand) only b 

For SC, ST, OBC and PwD candidates Rs.500/- ** (Rupees Five hundred) only.

” Transactional charges will be extra from the above said fee structure via Debit Card, Card, UPI payment, Net Banking & Mobile Wallets. 

Please note that the examination fee is non-refundable.

The amount should be paid online to Bank of Baroda, Kanke Branch in favour of “Account Name:- Central Institute of Psychiatry, Account No.:- 26260200000205, IFSC code is BARBOKANKEE (Fifth character is Zero) and MICR code is 834012004. Kindly note that the examination fee is non-refundable.

The admit card along with necessary instructions will be made available on the CIP website from 22.10.2022.The admit card along with necessary instructions are to be downloaded and rinted by the candidates and the same to be brought with them to the examination Centre. Examinee will not be allowed to enter the examination hall with any electronic communication gadgets, viz., mobile phones, pager, etc. Examinees, who come to the examination Centre with such gadgets shall have to make their own arrangements for keeping these outside the examination Centre. If anyone is found with these gadgets, he/she may be expelled from the examination. This should be strictly complied with.

Candidates will be asked to appear for Physical & Skill Test/Computer Based Test. The candidates are strongly advised to visit the C.I.P. website from time to time for relevant information and instructions.
