ELIGIBILITY FOR BRAOU B.Ed(ODL) PROGRAM 2023-24

1. The candidate should be an Indian citizen.
2. Candidates should have passed with at least 50% of marks in B.A./ B.Sc./ B.Com./
   B.C.A./B.Sc. (Home Science)/ BBM/BBA/ B.E/B.Tech.
3. The candidates belonging to SC/ST/BC/PWD should have secured a minimum of
   40% marks in the qualifying examination.
   3.The students who wish to take admission in B.Ed. with B.E/ B.Tech must
   have Science/Mathematics as one of the subjects.
   4.B.C.A. candidate must pass Intermediate with concern subjects to opt the
   Methodology.
4. The Candidates who h a v e completed (passed) the qualifying examination
   On or before July, 2023 are eligible.
5. The candidate who do not have required percentage of marks in Undergraduate,
   the marks secured in Post-Graduation will be considered (If he/she studied relevant
   subject at PG)
   07.The following categories are eligible to seek admission into B.Ed. (ODL):
   (i) Trained in-Service teachers in elementary education and
   (ii) Candidates who have completed a NCTE recognized teacher education
   programme through face-to face mode.
   08.The reservations for SC/ST/BC/PWD categories shall be as per the rules in vogue
6. EWS quota seats will be allotted to the eligible candidates on production of the
   relevant certificates/documents.
7. PH, Sports, NCC and CAP quota seats will be allotted to the eligible candidates
   on production of the relevant certificates/documents.
8. Candidate should have completed 21 years as on 1st July 2023. There shall be
   no upper age limit.
   Note:
   i. As per the GOMS No: 92 and GOMS NO.13, the candidates who passed
   MBBS/BDS/BPT/BAMS/BL/LLB/B.Pharm/BHMT/BVSC/B.Sc.(AG)/B.A.(La
   nguages)/BOL etc. and other such Professional and Job Oriented courses are
   not eligible for admission into B.Ed. Programme.
   ii. Diploma in ECE /PSE, and other Pre-Primary Teacher Training
   Certificate/Diploma (PPTTC) completed candidates are not eligible for
   admission into B.Ed. (ODL) Programme.

Medium: Telugu
Tuition Fee: Rs.40,000/- to be paid at the time of Admission for the entire programme of two years.
Duration: 02 Academic years

Syllabus for BRAOU B.Ed (ODL)
Entrance Test 2023-24

The Entrance Test Question Paper will have 3 parts for 100 Marks with 100 Objective
type (Multiple Choice) questions.
Part-I: General English Comprehension (25 Marks)
Part-II: Proficiency in Telugu (25 Marks)
Part-III: General Mental Ability (50 Marks)

Mode of Entrance Test of BRAOU B.Ed (ODL)

Entrance Test will be conducted Online [Computer Based Test (CBT) mode]. (Entrance
Test will be conducted in Telugu (Medium) only)

Registration to appear for the BRAOU B.Ed (ODL) Entrance Test

A) Pay the Registration fee and Register through University portal www.braouonline.in
from 22-01-2024.
B) Candidates has to pay Rs. 1000/- (Rupees one thousand only). S.C/ST/PWD
candidates have to pay Rs. 750/- (Rupees Seven Hundred and fifty only) through
online on or before 21-02-2024.
C) Applications may submit on or before 26-02-2024 with a late fee of Rs. 500/-

Details for BRAOU B.Ed (ODL) of Entrance Test

Entrance Test will be held on 05-03-2024 from 02.30 PM to 04.30 PM at selected
Examination Centres. The University reserves the right to allot candidates to any other
Entrance Test Centre(s) other than their choice in unavoidable circumstances

2. Last date for Payment of fee and submission of Online Application:21-02-2024
3. Last date for Payment of fee and submission of Online Application
   with a late fee of Rs.500/-:26-02-2024.

   2024, andaffix the latest passport size photograph (which is exactly similar to the on uploaded in the Online
   application) in the space provided and get it attested by a Gazetted Officer/Principal of the College, without the hall
   ticket the candidate is not allowed to appear for entrance test.
