The attention of all the regional Joint Directors of School Education and District Educational Officers in the state is drawn to Reference 1, which issued the year-long schedule for conducting Assessments for the academic year 2023-24 in all management schools across the state.

In light of the SEAS (State Educational Achievement Survey) preparation, instructions have been given to prepare students of classes 3, 6, and 9 according to the assessment framework outlined by NCERT.

Furthermore, it has been observed in the academic calendar for 2023-24 that Summative Assessment 1 was initially scheduled for 04.11.2023. However, due to the SEAS preparation and survey schedule, and keeping in mind the national Library Week from November 14th to 20th, SA1 has been rescheduled and will now be conducted from 24.11.2023.

It is requested that the State Project Director of Samagra Shiksha, Andhra Pradesh, ensure that the required budget for SA1, as per which already approved CBA1 financial norms, is met from State Samagra Shiksha funds.

District Educational Officers are requested to submit the expenditure bills regarding printing, Scanning and other expenditures for SA1 as per the approved financial norms in CBA1 (2023-24) to the State Project Director, Samagra Shiksha, AP.

The revised schedule, syllabus, and timetable for Summative Assessment

-1 are attached herewith.

This has got the approval of Commissioner of School Education, AP.

1. FIRST LANGUAGE( GROUP A) Telugu, Tamil ,Kannada, Odia and Urdu
2. FIRST LANGUAGE(GROUP B) :-PAPER-II COMPOSITE TELUGU(SANSKRIT)/COMPOSITE URDU(HINDI/ARABIC/PERSIA is on 25.11.2023.
3. FIRST LANGUAGE(GROUP B) :-PAPER-I COMPOSITE TELUGU(SANSKRIT)/COMPOSITE URDU(HINDI/ARABIC/PERSIA is on 28.11.2023.

4. SECOND LANGUAGE:- HINDI/TELUGU/SPECIAL ENGLISH

5. P.S & B.S will be conducted as separate papers.

1. FOR PHYSICAL SCIENCE AND BIOLOGICAL SCIENCE OF CLASS VIII, IX and X THE DURATION WILL BE TWO HOURS ONLY .
2. FOR COMPOSITE TELUGU PAPER -II THE DURATION WILL BE ONE HOUR AND 45 Mins ONLY.(1.30 Hrs FOR WRITING + 15 Mins FOR QP READING. ).
3. TOEFL JUNIOR WILL BE CONDUCTED IN AFTERNOON SESSION.

THIS TOEFL EXAM IS TREATED AS A DIAGNOSTIC TEST . ( Compulsory for schools having IFPs/Smart TV).
