Sub:BIE, AP – Intermediate Public Examinations(IPE), March 2024 – Due dates for grant of Exemption from Attendance to the Private candidates (without College study) –
Communicated – Regarding.


It is to inform that the due dates to apply for Grant of Attendance Exemption
online from the Board of Intermediate Education, A.P., to the following categories of private
candidates without college study and change of group to appear for Intermediate Public
Examinations to be held in March 2024 are as follows:
a.Date of Publication in the Press. 03-10-
2023
b. Last date for payment of exemption fee of Rs. 1500/- and submission
of application form for grant of Exemption online.
30-11-2023
c. Last date with additional penal fee of Rs. 500/- 31-12-2023


ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS:-


i. Candidates who have a gap of one year after passing the qualifying
examination i.e., S.S.C. or its equivalent are eligible to appear only for
first year I.P.E March 2024 and if the gap period is two years or more
they can appear for both 1st and 2nd year in IPE March 2024 at a time.
ii. Further, the candidates who appeared for 2nd year Intermediate Public
Examinations earlier (failed candidates) and who desire to change their
optional subjects from Sciences to Arts/Humanities or in
Arts/Humanities from one institution to another, Change of group is
permissible as per the Rules of the Board and will also have to apply for
“Exemption from Attendance” on or before the due date given above.
iii.The candidates who passed Intermediate Public Examinations, with
B.P.C and desire to appear with Mathematics as additional subject.
iv.Intermediate Pass Certificate holders can appear for Second Language
as additional subject under Attendance Exemption.
v. All private candidates who are granted exemption from attendance and
who intend to appear for First or Second year I.P.E March 2024 for the

first time will have to answer the papers on par with the Syllabus
prescribed for the regular students.
vi.No exemption fee or penal fee will be charged from candidates who
have enrolled themselves under APSSDC Skilling Programmes in Skill
Hubs or Skill Colleges. Such candidates are required to furnish their
Skill Id as given to trainees under APSSDC training programmes and
provide details of skill training being undertaken by them (Training
Partner TP Code, Training Center TC Code, Training Programme Code
as per National Skill Qualification Framework NSQF etc.)
vii.The candidates are directed to apply for attendance exemption online
by visiting website https://bieap.apcfss.in/ and they shall upload the
scanned copy of the original certificates of S.S.C.(X) Pass Certificate
and T.C.(Transfer Certificate) if applicable in the website. The
candidates have to pay the requisite fee through online only. The
application received by post or in person will not be considered.
Therefore, all the Principals are requested to give wide publicity of this letter
among the students, parents and teaching staff in their respective Junior Colleges.
