తాత్పర్యము: మూర్ఖుని యొక్క మాటలు నీటిమూటలే అవుతాయి. ఎందుకంటే నీటిని ఒక మూటలో కడితే నిలుస్తుందా ఏమిటి? ఈ రకంగా మూర్ఖుడు ఒకసారి చెప్పిన మాటను మరొకసారి చెప్పక మారుస్తూ ఉంటాడు. ఒకసారి మంచి అన్న దానిని మరోకసారి చెడు అంటుంటాడు. కాబట్టి ఈ విధంగా మాటలు మార్చే మూర్ఖులను నమ్మరాదు.
