Clarification on sanction family pension when another child has availed compassionate appointment (other than spouse) in the same family

Attention of all the DT&AOS in the state is invited to the reference cited. They are informed that the Govt in the reference cited have issued the following clarification on sanction of family pension when another person has availed compassionate appointment (other than spouse) in the same family:-

“Family Pension shall be allowed to the children of the deceased spouse of the employee, irrespective of the fact that compassionate appointment availed by another child in the the same family.”

In view of the above, all the DT&AOS in the state are requested to take action accordingly.
