Sub: AP Samagra Shiksha – SIEMAT – Guidelines to aware on Shiksha Shabdkosh – Certain instructions – issued.
Ref: Shiksha Shabdkosh released by the Department of School Education & Literacy, MoE, Govt. of India
The District Educational Officers & Ex-Officio Project Coordinators and Additional Project Coordinators of Samagra Shiksha and Principals of DIETs in the state are informed that the Govt. of India has prepared a comprehensive Glossary of important terminologies in the area of School Education entitled Shiksha Shabdkosh and released on 06.09.2022.
It is further informed that Shiksha Shabdkosh is useful for a better understanding of the application of terms, especially to the educational administrators at all levels i.e., national, state, district, mandal, cluster and even at school level.
Hence, all the District Educational Officers & Ex-Officio Project Coordinators and Additional Project Coordinators of Samagra Shiksha and Principals of DIETs in the State are hereby follow the guidelines.
Guidelines on Shiksha Shabdkosh:
• To study the Shabdkosh or Dictionary it includes terms and references which are widely used by educationists, educational administrators, teachers, examiners, etc.
• The dictionary consists of terms relating to various themes such as
• Educational indicators,
• Access Equity and Inclusiveness,
• Quality Curriculum and Assessment,
• Teachers and Teacher education,
• Digital technology,
• Governance and Monitoring,
• Vocational and skilling and
• Schemes related.
• This material will be useful to all the functionaries to acquaint with the terms being used in the field of education.
• To aware the school education functionaries i.e., DyEos, MEOs, DIET faculty and HMs in the district at various levels on this dictionary through meetings, WebEx and WhatsApp.
• The soft copy of the dictionary should be shared to all the functionaries to enable them to aware on the technical terms used in the field of education.
