The attention of all the Regional Joint Directors of School Education and all District Educational ofcers in the state is invited to the reference 1st cited, wherein  UIDAI has issued guidelines for enrollment of new born kids and school children and  their mandatory bio-metric updates at 5 – 15 age group. A period of two years is generally allowed by UIDAI for this cohort to extend free Mandatory Biometric Updates (MBUS) up to 7 years and 17 years and informed not to collect any money from school age students and this activity should be completed before 31.12.2022. Further, GVWV & VSWS Department has been conducting special camps for Adhaar enrolment of school children to update mandatory biometrics followed by UIDAI guidelines.  In addition to the special camps, mandatory biometric updates are also being taken up on daily basis on AEK’s established secretariats. It is the responsibility of the concerned school Head Master (HM) to ensure that 100% biometrics of all children are updated during the camp and the concerned HM shall certify that all mandatory biometrics of students are updated before the DAs/WEDPS are  returned to the AEK to secretariat.
