International News:
● NASA’s Osiris-X, which was launched in September 2016 to collect samples from the
near-Earth asteroid Bennu, landed safely in the Utah desert yesterday, collecting 250 grams
of samples.
● The New York Times magazine reported that the US had provided intelligence to Canada
that indicated India’s role in the killing of Khalistan terrorist Haradeep Singh Nijjar.
● India and the US are going to conduct a two-week long joint military exercise called Yudh
Abhyas-23 at the Fort Wainwright military base in the state of Alaska in the United States.
● Akshardham, the largest Hindu temple built outside India in the modern era built in an area

National News:

● Manipur Chief Minister Biren Singh yesterday held a meeting with Border Roads Organization (BRO)

that Bharatpur in Rajasthan accounts for the highest 18 percent of cyber crimes in the country, followed

● Chief Justice of the State High Court Justice Dheeraj Singh Thakur yesterday inaugurated the newly
constructed complex of ten court buildings in Visakhapatnam.
● The Vijayawada ACB Court yesterday issued an order extending the judicial remand of Telugu Desam
Party President Nara Chandrababu Naidu till October 5 in the Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development
Corporation (APSSDC) case.
● Guntur Division Railway officials have informed that many trains are being cancelled from today to
October 1 due to technical reasons.
● The Director of Public Health and Family Welfare Department informed that more than two lakh Dengue
RDT kits have been made available in YSR Health Clinics in the state.
● Acharya N.G.Ranga Agricultural University registrar informed that the candidates who have registered
their names for the admissions in Agriculture B.ScB.Tech Food Technology courses for the academic
year 2023-24 should register for the first round of web options between 27th and 30th of this month.
● Amaravati Meteorological Center informed that there is a possibility of formation of surface circulation
in North Andaman Sea on 29th of this month.

● On the first day of the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, China, Indian athletes won two silver medals, one
bronze medal in rowing, one silver and one bronze medal in shooting 5 medals in total
● As part of the ongoing 3 ODI cricket match series between the Indian and Australian teams, the Indian
team won the second ODI in Indore yesterday by 99 runs and won the series 2-0 with one match
remaining.
● As part of the 19th Asian Games being held in China, the Indian team won the silver medal in the
women’s 10m air rifle team category, while Indian shooter Ramitha won the bronze medal in the
individual category.
● In the 19th Asian Games women’s cricket competition, the Indian team defeated Bangladesh by 8 wickets

● Tirupati DRO has informed that the arrangements have been completed for conducting online
examinations in 3 examination centres in Tirupati for job recruitment through APPSC from today.
● Unknown persons stole a Dharma Ratham (electrical bus) from Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam
Transport Office in Tirumala yesterday. The police, who were searching for it, located the vehicle at
Ontimitta temple near Kadapa and seized it.
