I)ELIGIBILITY: A candidate who has/is
Scored at least 55% of marks, in case of SC/ST 50% of marks or equivalent grade for all categories in class VII Examination studied during the year 2021-22.
Studying in ZP//Local Body/ Government /Government aided schools Model Schools which have no residential facility only can apply.
Candidates from Model Schools who have residential facility are not eligible for applying of NMMSE. Head Masters concerned will be held responsible in this matter.
The candidates whose parental annual income (both Parents put together) is below Rs.3,50,000/- from all sources have to produce latest original Annual Income Certificate issued by the Mandal Revenue Officer, Telangana in case of Private employee and certificate issued by the employer in case of Government employee.
The students studying in Telangana Residential High Schools, Telangana Social Welfare Residential Schools, Telangana Tribal Welfare Residential High Schools,Telangana Minority Residential Schools, Government Ashram High Schools and Kasturba Residential Schools, Model schools with residential facility, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas, Kendriya Vidyalayas, Private unaided Schools including sainik schools and other Government schools which have residential facility arc not eligible to appear for this Examination.
In case of BC/SC/STcandidates caste certificate (issued by the MRO of Telangana state) and in case of PHCcandidatesMedical certificates issued by District Medical board of Telangana state should be uploaded along with application at the time of registration of application on line and all the candidates including general candidates should upload income certificate (issued by the MRO of Telangana state) at the time of registration of application on line.
Original VII class Pass Memo of Marks of the candidate should be submitted..
VI) Examination fee is: Rs.100/- for OC/BC students &Rs. 50/- for SC/ST/PH students. The examination fee has to be paid through the system of SBI Collect which is connected with the link of online application.

TS NMMS 2022-23 NOTIFICATION
తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్రంలో 2022-23 విద్యా సంవత్సరానికి గాను నేషనల్ మీన్స్ కమ్ మెరిట్ స్కాలర్‌షిప్ (NMMS) పరీక్ష డిసెంబరు 12న నిర్వహించనున్నారు. ప్రభుత్వ పాఠశాలల్లో ఎనిమిదో తరగతి చదువుతున్న విద్యార్థులు ఈ పరీక్ష రాయడానికి అర్హులు. దరఖాస్తు చేసుకోవడానికి అక్టోబ‌రు 28 వరకు గడువు ఉంది. తెలుగు, హిందీ, ఉర్దూ, ఆంగ్ల మాధ్యమాల్లో పరీక్ష ప్రశ్నపత్రాలు ఉంటాయి. ప్రతి రెవెన్యూ డివిజన్‌లో పరీక్ష కేంద్రాలను ఏర్పాటు చేయనున్నారు. ఆసక్తి ఉన్న విద్యార్థులు ఆయా పాఠశాలల ప్రధానోపాధ్యాయులను సంప్రదించి, దరఖాస్తు చేసుకోవచ్చు.
ఆర్థికంగా వెనుకబడిన, ప్రతిభగల విద్యార్థులను ఆదుకొనేందుకు కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం నేషనల్ మీన్స్ కమ్ మెరిట్ స్కాలర్‌షిప్(ఎన్ఎంఎంఎస్) పథకాన్ని అమలు చేస్తోంది. 9వ తరగతి నుంచి ఇంటర్ వరకు చదివే పేద విద్యార్థులను ప్రోత్సహించేందుకు ఏటా ఉపకారవేతనాన్ని అందిస్తోంది. పరీక్షకు సంబంధించిన ప్రకటనను ఏపీ డైరెక్టరేట్ ఆఫ్ గవర్నమెంట్ ఎగ్జామినేషన్స్ విభాగం తాజాగా విడుదల చేసింది. ఈ పథకానికి ఎంపికైన విద్యార్థులకు నెలకు రూ.1000 చొప్పున ఏడాదికి మొత్తం రూ.12,000 స్కాలర్‌షిప్‌గా అందిస్తారు. 9వ తరగతి నుంచి ఇంటర్ పూర్తయ్యే వరకు వీరికి స్కాలర్‌షిప్ అందుతుంది.

✶ నేషనల్ మీన్స్ కమ్ మెరిట్ స్కాలర్‌షిప్ స్కీమ్: 2022-23 (తెలంగాణ)
అర్హతలు:
✦ ఏడో తరగతిలో కనీసం 55 శాతం మార్కులు పొందిన విద్యార్థులు పరీక్ష రాయడానికి అర్హులు. తుది ఎంపిక సమయం నాటికి ఎనిమిదో తరగతిలో 55 శాతం మార్కులు పొంది ఉండాలి. ఎస్సీ, ఎస్టీ విద్యార్థులకు 50 శాతం మార్కులు ఉంటే సరిపోతుంది.
✦ ప్రభుత్వ, ఎయిడెడ్, స్థానిక సంస్థల పాఠశాలల్లో రెగ్యులర్ విధానంలో చదవుతూ ఉండాలి.
✦ కుటుంబ వార్షికాదాయం రూ.3,50,000 మించకూడదు.
దరఖాస్తు విధానం: రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వ సెకండరీ ఎడ్యుకేషన్ బోర్డు వెబ్‌సైట్ ద్వారా ఆన్‌లైన్‌లో విద్యార్థుల దరఖాస్తులను ఆయా స్కూళ్లు సమర్పించాలి. అనంతరం ఆ దరఖాస్తుల ప్రింటవుట్లను, ధ్రువీకరణ పత్రాలను డీఈవోలకు పంపాలి. ప్రతి విద్యార్థికి పరీక్ష ఫీజు రూ.100 ఎస్‌బీఐ చలానా రూపంలో జతచేయాలి.
దరఖాస్తు ఫీజు: రూ.100. ఎస్సీ, ఎస్టీ విద్యార్థులు రూ.50 చెల్లిస్తే సరిపోతుంది.
ఎంపిక విధానం: రాత పరీక్ష ద్వారా విద్యార్థులను స్కాలర్‌షిప్‌కు ఎంపిక చేస్తారు.
రాత పరీక్ష విధానం: ఈ స్కాలర్‌షిప్స్‌కు అర్హులైన అభ్యర్థులను ఎంపిక చేసేందుకు రాష్ట్రస్థాయిలో రెండు పేపర్ల రాత పరీక్షలు నిర్వహిస్తారు.
✦ మెంటల్‌ ఎబిలిటీ టెస్ట్‌(మ్యాట్): ఈ పేపర్‌లో వెర్బల్, నాన్‌ వెర్బల్ రీజనింగ్, క్రిటికల్‌ థింకింగ్‌ నుంచి 90ప్రశ్నలు–90 మార్కులకు ఉంటాయి.
✦ స్కాలాస్టిక్‌ అప్టిట్యూడ్‌ టెస్ట్‌(శాట్‌): ఈ పేపర్‌లోనూ 90ప్రశ్నలు –90 మార్కులకు ఉంటాయి. ఏడు, ఎనిమిది తరగతుల స్థాయి లో బోధించిన సైన్స్, సోషల్, మ్యాథ్స్‌ సబ్జెక్టుల నుంచి ప్రశ్నలు అడుగుతారు.
పరీక్ష సమయం: ఒక్కో పేపరుకు 90 నిమిషాల సమయాన్ని కేటాయిస్తారు.
కనీస అర్హత మార్కులు: రెండు పరీక్ష(మ్యాట్, శాట్‌)ల్లో సగటున జనరల్‌ అభ్యర్థులకు 40 శాతం (36) మార్కులు, ఎస్సీ/ఎస్టీ విద్యార్థులకు 32 శాతం (29)మార్కులను కనీస అర్హత మార్కులుగా నిర్ణయించారు. జిల్లాను యూనిట్‌గా తీసుకొని రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వ నిబంధనల మేరకు కేటగిరీల వారీగా ఎస్సీ/ఎస్టీ/బీసీ/దివ్యాంగులకు రిజర్వేషన్‌ ప్రకారం అర్హత పొందిన విద్యార్థుల మెరిట్ లిస్ట్‌ తయారు చేస్తారు.
