GSWS – Consistent Rhythms Dropout Analysis Module

Prepared as a part of Consistent Rhythms Application Development, An initiative of Government of Andhra Pradesh

Dropout Children:

The Dropout Children Module has been introduced in the Consistent Rhythms app, and it is applicable only for Welfare Education Assistant or Ward Education and Data Processing Secretary. The purpose of this module is to identify reasons for children whose attendance in the school is < 10% in the previous academic year (202fi-2022) and to eventually develop policy solutions that will motivate them to return to school.

Users (WEA/WEDPS) once logged into the application, would be presented with “Dropout Children Tile”.

Clicking on Dropout-Children Tile will take the user to a screen where there are two options

School Visit:

Users should visit the school which is tagged against each student and fill the survey with first hand information from school teachers and headmaster on why the students attendance is very poor in the previous academic year. Please find the below screenshots for your reference.

Here is the flow diagram for understanding the structure.

House Visit:

Similarly, the user has to visit the dropout children’s house, and mark reasons for low attendance. The screenshots and workflow are shown below:

Completed:

The completed list in the previous screen helps users to view the list of completed surveys of dropout children. The user will have the option to review the submitted details in the next version of the application.
